Why do I have to do this first?
Applications are $45 per adult and they're non-refundable. We'd rather tell you up front if something's going to be a problem than take your money and let you find out later. It also means when our leasing team calls, they already know what you're looking for instead of starting from scratch.
What if my income is under 3x the rent?
Then it's worth knowing now rather than after you've paid. Our assistant will tell you what rent range would line up with your income, and if another adult is going on the lease, their income counts toward the total. Either way your information goes to our leasing team — nobody gets turned away here.
Will this affect my credit score?
No. Nothing here pulls your credit. We just ask how you'd describe it. The actual credit check happens later, on the real application.
Does this hold a unit for me?
No. Pre-qualifying isn't an application and it isn't an approval — it doesn't reserve or hold anything. It's step one, and our leasing team takes it from there.
